Who we are
Finca Doble Vía is a trading name of San Jose Services Ltd (company no. 16766601), registered office 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ. We decide how your information is used, so we are the "controller" under UK data protection law. Contact us about anything on this page at [email protected].
If you buy from our website
- What we get: your name, email, phone number, delivery address and what you ordered. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card details.
- Why: to take payment, send your order, answer questions about it and handle returns. The legal basis is our contract with you, plus our legal duty to keep tax and accounting records.
- Who else sees it: Stripe (payments and receipts) and Royal Mail (delivery).
- How long: order records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax.
If you email us
We keep your name, email address and what you wrote so we can reply and follow up. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. Emails are kept for up to two years after our last contact, unless they become part of an order or a trade account.
Shops, cafés and other businesses we contact
We contact independent shops, cafés, delis, farm shops and similar businesses to offer our coffee for wholesale.
- What we use: the business's name and address, and contact details the business publishes itself (such as a shop email address or phone number), together with the name and role of an owner or buyer where the business lists them publicly. We may also note what the business sells, so our message is relevant.
- Where it comes from: the business's own website and listings, and the public register at Companies House. We don't buy contact lists.
- Why: to offer a sample and wholesale supply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in promoting our coffee to businesses that are likely to want it. We send a small number of messages and stop if there's no reply.
- How long: if you become a customer, as above. If not, we delete your details within 12 months of our last contact.
How to opt out
Reply to any message from us, or email [email protected], and we'll stop contacting you. We keep only your business name and email address on a do-not-contact list, so we don't contact you again by mistake.
Our website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. Email us and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
